Yes. Letters and paintings are shared without your name unless you choose to sign them.
You can add an alias in the signature field, or leave it blank to stay fully anonymous.
There could be several reasons why your submission disappeared:
1. You wrote in a language other than English
We archive these submissions and take the time to translate them carefully.
This allows us to ensure that every submission complies with our content policy.
Once it has been reviewed and approved, it will be published on the site again.
2. Your post violated our content policy
This includes, for example, threats, promotion of violence, leaking
sensitive information, or other prohibited content.
3. You were spamming
Submissions made solely for the purpose of spamming may be removed.
4. You used the wrong submission button
If you submit a note without a message through the homepage,
it will be moved to the art gallery instead.
5. We are updating the site
Occasionally, updates can cause temporary glitches or make
submissions disappear unintentionally.
6. Your submission was initially within our content policy, but your
previous behavior resulted in further action
If you have repeatedly spammed, harassed the admin, or submitted
content that violated our content policy despite multiple warnings,
your submissions may be removed or restricted. Actions have consequences.
7. You were trying to chat with others or directly reply to submissions
This is not a place for conversations or direct communication.
Attempts to use submissions as a way to chat with other users
will be treated as spam and removed. You should also not reply to notes
by asking questions such as, “Who wrote XYZ?” or otherwise attempting
to identify or directly communicate with another person.
There is nothing wrong with believing that someone you know may be on here.
If you think you have found someone, feel free to leave them a piece of art,
or a piece of your heart or mind, in a post. However, attempts at
direct communication will be removed.
If you genuinely believe that none of the above applies to your submission,
or that we have misunderstood or misinterpreted your note,
then please feel free to contact us at: Loveatfirstsketch.contact@gmail.com.
It means that you probably wrote a nice message to the admins or drew us something, by showing our appreciation we liked the post and thank you for it through the label.
On that note: Thank you all for your kind words and art! we cherish and appreciate them all.
